  1. Ensure Consent: Always confirm the patient’s consent to share information with Medmate.

  2. Manage Patient Expectations: Let your patients know that provision of an eScript is dependent on the assessment and discretion of the doctor (i.e., there is no guarantee they’ll be supplied with a prescription that’s been requested despite having paid for the service).

  3. Utilise Your Consult Room: If your consult room is free, offer this space to the patient for some privacy.

  4. Keep Staff Informed: Train all relevant staff members to confidently use DocLink, ensuring smooth operations even during busy periods.

  5. Ensure Quick Calls: Encourage patients to keep their phone close, and to answer promptly when they receive a call to avoid delays.
